While I started writing romance novels as a teenager, I took a hiatus to pursue a career as a as a registered nurse for twelve years. Now retired from nursing in the intensive and cardiac care units, I passionately write women’s fiction and contemporary romance novels. I also volunteer my time as Workshop Coordinator for the Ottawa Romance Writers’ Association, and I chair their contest committee. As most writer's I am an avid reader and I am blessed to revel in the best book club ever.
All that being said, I am still first and foremost a mother of four wonderful children. I derive indescribable joy from their smiles, each containing a varying degree of gaps from new and loss teeth. I am also very lucky to have a great husband--who still has all his own teeth. We live in a beautiful house, which I spend way too much of my life cleaning, with our adorable Welsh Terrier, Charlie.
